Kiddomatic is 4 days of excellent short and feature-length international films for families at The Roxy Theater.
Films will be paired with different activities and the schedule will include camps designed for working parents and inventive kids who love movies and making movies. There is something for everyone in this festival from 3 years old to 100 and many programs will entertain the entire family. Recommendations for ideal audience ages are included in the film details. Special events, new films, and some classics will make up Kiddomatic - a festival that celebrates films from across the world.
Boys and Girls clubs, special-interest groups, teams, clubs or scouts qualify for special discounted rates and a limited amount of underwriting for tickets is available.

Opening Film: A Boy Named Charlie Brown
This is the 50th anniversary of this classic animated film, and the first time it will be presented theatrically since its release. When Charlie Brown enters the school spelling bee, the doubtful and openly honest Lucy predicts his abject humiliation. But with the help of his best friend Linus and loyal dog pal Snoopy, Charlie Brown sets out to surprise his detractors and ultimately attend the National Spelling Bee in New York City.

Special Screening: Iron Giant
Nine-year-old Hogarth Hughes lives with his waitress mother in rural Maine. One night, he discovers a gigantic robot, who turns out to be the world's best playmate. This wonderful film, set in the late 1950s, has so much humor and heart that it has become one of the most beloved animated films ever made. (In English and Swahili)

Films for 3 and up, all day.
Stop Motion Lab in the Roxy lobby with Roxy Film Academy teachers. Kiddos can learn about stop-motion, create mini-films in front of cool backgrounds from far off places, and build fun characters like all the ones featured in the Kiddomatic films.
